Windows 10 will now have Skype Meet Now Button in Taskbar for Faster Video Calls

  • Microsoft is bringing the Skype Meet Now button in the Windows 10 Taskbar for Faster Video Calls
  • This was first seen in the Windows 10 Preview Build

Microsoft is ready to add the Skype “Meet Now” button in the taskbar of the latest version of Windows 10. Users can easily start a meeting with their friends, colleagues, or anyone with just a click of a button. This button will make it easier to start a skype meeting.

This might be a result of the current crisis in the world, which is the COVID-19 Pandemic. Apps like Zoom and Google Meet found a significant growth and Microsoft wants to grow this platform (Skype Meet Now) as it is the perfect time. The new button will be added to the Windows 10 Taskbar with an update.

Microsoft’s Senior Program Manager Brandon LeBlanc announced in a Blog Post that the Meet Now button will be available in the coming update as it is already available in the Windows Insider Program. There is a rumour that Microsoft is planning to bring New Windows 10 Experience for all the users in coming updates.

Users using the latest version of the Windows 10 have not got the update for the button yet. But users using the version 1903 and 1909 have already got the button through the KB4580386 update. There are many more changes with the recent updates from Microsoft.
