Whatsapp message disappear

WhatsApp users can now set their messages to disappear by default after a certain amount of time. This new feature allows users to choose between disappearing messages after 24 hours, 7 days, or 90 days.

The new feature is available in the latest version of WhatsApp for Android and iOS. To enable it, open WhatsApp, go to Settings > Account > Privacy > and select the desired duration for messages to disappear.

This new feature is designed to help users protect their privacy. Messages that disappear by default will no longer be stored on the recipient’s device or in WhatsApp’s servers.

This new feature is also useful for sending sensitive information such as financial data or passwords. If you send a message that contains sensitive information, you can always manually delete it in the chat window. You can also still store messages permanently in WhatsApp by disabling this feature in Settings > Account > Privacy.

This update follows WhatsApp’s decision to improve security by adding end-to-end encryption for all of its users, making messaging on the platform more secure than ever before.

Setting messages to disappear after 24 hours is useful when you are sharing information that could be misunderstood or misinterpreted if shared with others. For example, sharing your contact card with people who may not know your phone number. Assuming you set up a contact card with your phone number instead of email address, they won’t have access to your email unless they already had it saved on their device or remembered it. If someone asks you for contact information and you have set your messages to disappear after 24 hours, you could easily send them your contact card through a message. They can always call or email you if they need more details.

You would never want to share passwords or financial data via WhatsApp because those types of messages will not disappear from the conversation. But any other type of sensitive information such as an address, etc., will be safe to talk about using this new feature provided that the duration is set to 24 hours or less.

This configuration is also useful when sharing family photos with a spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, child, parents, grandparents, etc., who don’t really need access to all of your pictures since they’re mostly private. If you don’t want them to be able to access the photos anytime they want, set the disappearing message duration to 7 days or less.

If you’re traveling and don’t want people to know where you are, set your messages to disappear after 90 days.

This new feature is a great way to keep your conversations private without having to worry about someone going through your chat history and seeing old messages. Just be sure to remember to manually delete any sensitive messages before they disappear!
